This marks Gold’s first project in his new role as DSTLRY’s Head of New Talent. In this position, Gold will oversee the outreach and development of emerging writers and artists at the publisher. “Through the Boughs is a wonderful first step in merging established storytellers with writers and artists who are early in their journey,” Gold explains. “I’m ecstatic to help empower new voices in the sequential art space, and I can’t wait to continue that mission in future projects.” Gold will also continue his position as Head of Publishing Operations.
